After many years of searching to make their dream a reality, they found the El Moralejo farm, an estate that had been dedicated to winemaking for centuries. Its greatest potential lies in its altitude, as it reaches 1,050 meters above sea level, in a unique setting surrounded by nature.
\nIf one thing was clear, it was that all of this had to take place in the high-altitude vineyards, where the mild summer temperatures and the temperature contrast between day and night would provide the unique character that can be recognized today in all Balmoral wines and sparkling wines. All of this was revolutionary at the time, as it meant turning its back on commonly accepted rules and taking on the challenge of producing wine that met the exacting standards of the finest Champagne houses\u2014in a unique region where, given its altitude, everything indicated that the chosen path was the right one.<\/p>\n

It was then that Jos\u00e9 Vicente and Ant\u00f3nio began a fruitful collaboration with Herv\u00e9 Jestin, a renowned winemaker born in Eperney, France, with experience at major Champagne houses.<\/p>\n

Today, no one can deny the potential of Balmoral Winery\u2019s vineyards, as its wines and sparkling wines have carved out a niche for themselves in the more than 25 countries where they are sold, in addition to the numerous accolades it has received, which recognize the winery\u2019s dedication and expertise.<\/p>\n
